Professor Klaus Cichutek Receives the Federal Cross of Merit

Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier awarded the former President of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut, Professor Klaus Cichutek, with the Cross of Merit First Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his outstanding dedication in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Federal President personally awarded the Order to Klaus Cichutek at a celebratory reception on Thursday, 18 January, 2024, at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin.
