The 8th National Vaccination Conference will offer exciting lectures on topics such as modern vaccination communication, innovative vaccines and vaccination technologies, the impact of climate change on health with a focus on vaccine-preventable diseases, and vaccination recommendations and targets in Germany and Europe. An approach to the promotion of HPV vaccination knowledge and willingness will also be included in the list of topics.

Doctors and other medical professionals who administer vaccines will have the chance to receive practical information on the current vaccination recommendations from an expert group that includes STIKO members in their own afternoon session. At the end of the conference, relevant stakeholders in the vaccines field will exchange views on vaccination topics that are particularly important for colleagues working in medical practices.

The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut is represented on the event's scientific committee by Professor Eberhard Hildt, Head of the Virology Division.
