The Frankfurt/Rhine-Main science region is characterised by its diversity and innovative strength. To showcase this strength and its importance for society, the Frankfurt Alliance – an alliance of non-university research institutes and Goethe University – invites you to its big "Science Festival" on 28 September, 2024, in Frankfurt.
The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut is actively participating in the science festival as an associated partner of the Frankfurt Alliance. The Vice President of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut, Professor Zoe Waibler, will give some brief insights into the Institute's scientific work on the day of the event (main stage, starting at 10:30 am) as part of the festival kick-off, moderated by Hessischer Rundfunk.
You can also get to know the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut all day (from 10 am to 7 pm) at the Roßmarkt in its own science tent (booth 15). As part of the Science Festival, the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut will illustrate the Institute's importance for the health of the population as regards to its research and regulatory tasks by using the example of its responsibility for blood products. The Institute will also present its qualities as an attractive employer, especially for physicians, scientific staff, and pharmacists.
